Grain mostly lower, livestock mostly higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery declined 10.25 cents to $4.9225 a bushel; December corn was up 1.25 cents to 3.7675 a bushel; December oats fell 3.75 cents to 2.3075 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 7 cents to $8.9825 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was up 2.87 cents to $1.3942 a pound; November feeder cattle rose 4.25 cents to $1.9015 a pound; while December lean hogs was off 1.25 cents to $.6558 a pound.
