Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery advanced 12 cents to $5.0750 a bushel; December corn was up 2.75 cents to 3.8325 a bushel; December oats gained 3.50 cents to 2.30 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 2 cents to $8.6375 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was off 3 cents to $1.3575 a pound; October feeder cattle fell 4.50 cents to $1.8237 a pound; while December lean hogs lost .53 cent to $.6422 a pound.
