Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursdday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery was 4 cents higher to $5.7060 a bushel; September corn was 7.60 cents higher at $4.3720 a bushel; December oats were 2.40 cents higher at $2.6960 bushel; while November soybeans was 12.20 cents higher at 10.2720 cents a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was .23 cent lower at $1.4680 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.35 cents lower at $2.1398 a pound; August lean hogs gained .68 cent to $.7598 a pound.
