Grain higher and livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery advanced 30 cents to $5.68 a bushel; September corn was 9.75 cents higher at 3.9250 a bushel; December oats were 2.75 cents higher at 2.7350 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 10.25 cents to $9.8950 a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was off .05 cent to $1.4852 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 1.80 cents to $2.1725 a pound; while August lean hogs rose .67 cent to $.7282 a pound.
