HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (AP) — Sears Holdings Corp. (SHLD) on Monday reported a loss of $303 million in its fiscal first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Hoffman Estates, Illinois-based company said it had a loss of $2.85. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $2 per share.
The department store operator posted revenue of $5.88 billion in the period.
Sears shares have increased 24 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped slightly in the last 12 months.
