Grain mostly lower, livestock mostly higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was up 17.25 cents to $5.12 a bushel; May corn fell 1.25 cents to 3.7350 a bushel; May oats were .25 cent lower at $2.73 a bushel; while May soybeans declined 3.25 cents to $9.6175 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was up 1.75 cents to $1.5022 a pound; May feeder cattle rose 2.25 cents to $2.1567 a pound; while June lean hogs fell .60 cent to $.7452 a pound.
