Grain mostly lower, livestock mostly higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was up 8.25 cents to $5.0725 a bushel; May corn fell 2.50 cents to 3.8850 a bushel; May oats were .75 cent lower at $2.8125 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 2.25 cents to $9.9050 a bushel.

Beef was higher pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was up .20 cent to $1.5580 a pound; May feeder cattle rose .67 cent to $2.1192 a pound; while April lean hogs were 1.82 cents lower at $.6230 a pound.
