U.S. stock indexes ended mostly lower on Wednesday, breaking a string of five record high closes.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 2.70 points, less than 0.1 percent, to 17,612.20.
The Standard & Poor's 500 index lost 1.43, less than 0.1 percent, to end at 2,038.25.
The Nasdaq composite climbed 14.58 points, or 0.3 percent, to 4,675.13.

The S&P 500 index is up 6.33 points, or 0.3 percent.
The Nasdaq is up 42.60 points, or 0.9 percent
