Grain mostly lower, beef and pork higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery fell 5.50 cents to $5.3025 a bushel; Dec corn was 5.50 cents lower at 3.4650 a bushel; Dec oats were 1.75 cents higher at $3.41 a bushel; while Nov soybeans declined 16.75 cents to $10.0325 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct live cattle rose 1.63 cents to $1.5705 a pound; Oct feeder cattle was .23 cent higher at $2.22 a pound; while Oct lean hogs gained 1.55 cents to $1.0265 a pound.
