Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 8.75 cents to $6.0575 a bushel; July corn was 7.25 cents lower at 4.49 a bushel; July oats were 4.50 cents lower at $3.5625 a bushel; while July soybeans declined 22 cents to $14.6050 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 1.150 cents to $1.4132 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.05 cents higher at $1.9982 a pound; while July lean hogs rose .67 cent to $1.2217 a pound.
