Grain higher, livestock mostly higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 6.75 cents to $6.76 a bushel; May corn was 4.25 cents higher at 5.00 a bushel; May oats rose 6.25 cents to $4.1475 a bushel; while May soybeans advanced 13 cents to $14.7525 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose .60 cent to $1.3737 a pound; May feeder cattle was 2.18 cents higher at $1.8015 a pound; while June lean hogs fell 1.25 cents to $1.2355 a pound.
