Grain mostly higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 4.5 cents to $6.86 a bushel; December corn rose .25 cent to 4.43 a bushel; December oats were 4.25 cents lower at $3.3175 a bushel; while November soybeans advanced 16.75 cents to $12.9325 a bushel.

Beef and pork fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle shed 1.48 cents to $1.3177 a pound; November feeder cattle was .82 cent lower at $1.6690 a pound; while December lean hogs lost .35 cent higher to $.8845 a pound.
