Grain mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 5 cents to $6.855 a bushel; December corn fell 5.25 cents to 4.3825 a bushel; December oats were 2.25 cents higher at $3.2025 a bushel; while November soybeans gained .25 cent to $12.88 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose .22 cent to $1.3217 a pound; November feeder cattle was 1.55 cents higher at $1.6792 a pound; while December lean hogs were up .13 cent to $.8665 a pound.
