Senator Mike Braun [R-Ind] has won the GOP primary to replace term-limited Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb. Braun [R-Ind] —bolstred by an endorsement from frmer President Trump- outpaced several well-funded rivals to win the party’s nod. Victory should come easily in a state that has not elected a Democrat governor in 20 years. The chance to replace Braun in the Senate goes to Congressman Jim Banks [R-Ind]. Banks also has history on his side in November as indiana has not elected a Democrat senator in more than a decade. Banks won unoposed in the primary, and enjoyed the endorsement of former President Trump.

President Biden returns to a battleground state in the upper Midwest. One week after Donald Trump held a campaign rally in Wisconsin, the president is traveling to the battleground state for both an official event and a campaign event. Later, he’ll participate in a fundraiser in Chicago — the city that will host the Democratic National Convention in August.

The 2024 election might be all about faith
VERBATIM: People of faith, that is. Leaders of both conservative and liberal church groups are planning national get-out-the-vote campaigns heading into an election that many believe will be one of the most important in U.S. history. The National Council of Churches, which includes most liberal denominations, has announced a “Freedom Summer” initiative. The conservative Faith and Freedom group will spend 60 million to register voters.
