SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) — Video game maker Activision Blizzard Inc. said Monday that Vivendi SA Chairman and CEO Jean-Francois Dubos has joined its board of directors.
Dubos joined the board Oct. 12, replacing Vivendi executive Stephane Roussel, who resigned Oct. 9.
Dubos was appointed to the board by the Vivendi Nominating Committee, a subcommittee of Activision's nominating committee that is made up of appointees from Vivendi SA. Vivendi has held a majority stake in Activision, which makes such games as "World of Warcraft," since 2008. Roussel is Vivendi's senior executive vice president of human resources.
Dubos replaced former Vivendi CEO Jean-Bernard Levy in July because of differences over the direction of the company.
