A worker at the Mississippi Phosphates fertilizer facility in Pascagoula has been killed in an explosion that left two other workers injured.
Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus identified Friday's victim as 20-year-old Jeremy Moore of Moss Point.
The two injured workers are hospitalized.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd says there was some sort of steam explosion at the plant after 7 a.m.
Officials say no chemicals were released and there was no danger to the public.
The company said it is working with authorities and government officials to pinpoint the cause.
Friday's blast is the second deadly explosion at the plant in the past two weeks and in the same area.
