Tiffany & Co., down $4.21 at $57.59

The luxury jeweler cut its outlook for both sales and profit for the year, citing a worldwide slowdown in demand for its jewelry.

Signet Jewelers Ltd., down $3.74 at $44.01

The owner of the Kay jewelry stores said its first-quarter profit rose, but its sales growth and guidance was short of expectations.

Hewlett-Packard Co., up 69 cents at $21.77

The personal computer maker said it plans to cut 27,000 jobs amid the growing popularity of rivals' smartphones and other mobile devices.

PVH Corp., up $5.01 at $82.38

The popularity of the clothing seller's Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands lifted its fiscal first-quarter profit 61 percent.

Flowers Foods Inc., up $1.40 at $20.99

Sales of the maker of Nature's Own bread and Tastykake snacks grew more than analysts had anticipated during the first quarter.

Toro Co., up $6.58 at $74.69

The lawn care products maker said that its second-quarter profit rose 14 percent as more people manicured their lawns earlier.

US Airways Group Inc., up $1.16 at $12.16

Falling jet fuel prices helped boost the stocks of most airline stocks, led by shares of Tempe, Ariz.-based airline US Airways.


NetApp Inc., down $4.04 at $28.82

The data storage management system maker forecast a disappointing first quarter, citing rising uncertainty in the global economy.
