Recalls this week: Candle holders, lawn mowers

Tea light candle holders with the potential for a high flame and lawn mowers posing a crash hazard are among this week's recalled consumer products.

Here's a closer look at the specific products:


DETAILS: Red and gray Exmark Quest 42-inch ZRT Riding Mowers from 2009-2010 with model number QST20BE422 and serial numbers ranging from 790,000 through 860,652. The model and serial numbers are on a metal plate behind the seat. "Exmark" is printed on the side and "Quest" is printed on the front of the mowers.

WHY: Bearings supporting the mower's deck can fail and cause the deck to interfere with the operator's controls, resulting in a crash hazard.

INCIDENTS: 18 reports, but no injuries.

DETAILS: Farm glass and metal spiral tea light candle holders sold by Christmas Tree Shops of Union, N.J. The decorative spiral candle holders are made from painted glass with a red, orange, and green floral design. The glass has a metal insert that can hold 3 tea light candles. SKU/UPC number 000015931955 is found on a label on the bottom of the glass.

WHY: The tea light candles can burn with a high flame, posing a fire hazard.

INCIDENTS: One report of a tea light burning with a high flame, resulting in a hand burn.
