Another Avon Products executive leaves

Another executive has left beauty products seller Avon Products Inc.

Avon confirmed Thursday that Kerry Carr, group vice president for global supply chain finance, is no longer with the company.

The Wall Street Journal, citing people it did not identify, said her departure was related to the company's long-running probe into possible bribery overseas.

But Avon spokeswoman Jennifer Vargas declined to comment on whether her departure was related to that. Avon began investigating possible bribery by its employees in China in 2008. That investigation has spread to other countries and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Justice Department have gotten involved.

In January, Avon fired vice chairman Charles Cramb related to the probe. Four other executives were let go in April 2011.

Avon shares fell 11 cents to $21.73 in afternoon trading.
