Grains futures, livestock prices mostly rise

Grains futures mostly rose in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 8 cents to $6.36 a bushel; May corn rose 6.25 cents to $6.4225 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $3.2925 a bushel; while May soybeans rose 11.50 cents to $14.3350 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 2.12 cents to $1.1717 a pound; May feeder cattle rose 2.48 cents to $1.5190 a pound; while June lean hogs rose 1 cent to 93.65 cents a pound.
