Wall Street had its worst day of the year Tuesday. The Dow Jones industrial average and the Standard & Poor's 500 fell for the fifth day in a row, their longest and deepest losing streak of the year.
The Dow fell 213.66 points, or 1.7 percent, to 12,715.93.
The S&P 500 fell 23.61 points, or 1.7 percent, to 1,358.59.
The Nasdaq composite index fell 55.86 points, or 1.8 percent, to 2,991.22.

The Dow is down 344.21 points, or 2.6 percent.
The S&P 500 is down 39.49 points, or 2.8 percent.
The Nasdaq is down 89.28 points, or 2.9 percent.

The Dow is up 498.37 points, or 4.1 percent.
The S&P 500 is up 100.99 points, or 8 percent.
The Nasdaq is up 386.07 points, or 14.8 percent.
