PAY AT THE TOP: Cigna Corp. CEO David M. Cordani's total compensation climbed 25 percent last year. He received compensation valued at $18.9 million, according to an Associated Press analysis of a regulatory filing Monday.
THE BREAKDOWN: Cordani, 46, received a $1 million salary, a $9.3 million performance-related bonus and stock and options awards that totaled nearly $8.5 million.
ABOUT CIGNA: The Bloomfield, Conn., company is the fourth-largest U.S. commercial health insurer based on enrollment. It earned $1.33 billion, or $4.84 per share, last year on $22 billion in revenue.
