Connecticut's businesses and their lobbyists are gathering to review their agenda for the 2012 state legislative session.
The Connecticut Business & Industry Association and Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives have organized their annual "Business Day" at the Capitol on Wednesday. Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman is scheduled to kick off the day with a speech to business owners and representatives.
John Rathgeber, president of the CBIA, is set to outline the group's proposals for education legislation, which is a top priority.
Other scheduled speakers include state Senate Republican Leader John McKinney and Catherine Smith, commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development.
