RI gas climbs 4 cents; up for 8th straight week

The price of gas in Rhode Island is up four cents from last week and 18 cents in the past month.

AAA Southern New England says a gallon of regular unleaded is now $3.68, marking the eighth straight week it has climbed.

The cost in the Ocean State is 12 cents above the national average.

The state average a year ago this week was $3.21 per gallon.
