Summary Box: Soybeans rise on supply questions

JUMPING BEANS: The price of soybeans rose because of speculation that global supplies will become tighter as demand grows more robust. A government report indicates that U.S. soybean inventories will fall slightly by the end of this summer and increase 7 percent by August 2013.

GREECE'S DEBT WOES: Other commodities were mixed after Greek lawmakers approved deep spending cuts needed for the country to get more bailout money and avoid default on its massive debt. European leaders will meet Wednesday to discuss giving Greece more money.

MIXED BAG: Oil, gasoline futures and silver rose. Gold, platinum, palladium and copper fell.
