US oil prices fall below $97

U.S. oil prices fell below $97 per barrel Monday as growing supplies offset moves by President Barack Obama and other Western leaders to make it tougher for Iran to sell crude. Here's how energy contracts traded.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Crude fell 93 cents to finish at $96.91 per barrel;

Gasoline rose 1.35 cents to end at $2.9279 per gallon;

Heating oil rose 5.6 cents to finish at $3.1707 per gallon;

Natural gas rose 5.1 cents to end at $2.5500 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE Futures exchange in London:

Brent crude rose $1.35 to finish at $115.93 per barrel.
