Tessy Plastics is planning a $4.8 million expansion of its Lynchburg, Va. facility that will create 60 jobs.
Gov. Bob McDonnell announced the expansion Friday. He says in a news release that the project shows the importance of the plastics processing sector in Virginia.
New York-based Tessy Plastics produces a variety of plastic products, including medical devices and consumer items.
McDonnell approved a $150,000 grant from the Governor's Opportunity Fund for the project.
Recruitment and training will receive funding and services from the Virginia Jobs Investment Program.
