The CEO of the firm that bought the last paper mill in New Hampshire's North Country is speaking on "How to Save American Manufacturing" at an annual summit held by the state.
Lynn Tilton is speaking Wednesday at the New Hampshire Advanced Manufacturing and High Technology Summit. It's being held at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester.
Tilton's private equity firm bought the mill in Gorham earlier this year. It had been shut down for eight months. The last owner, Fraser Papers, had declared bankruptcy.
The summit's presentations and workshops will focus on how New Hampshire's high-tech and manufacturing sectors can stimulate growth through collaboration.
