Procter & Gamble Co. has launched an online site aimed at Latin women that offers beauty and household tips, inspirational stories, and information about some of its consumer products.
The www.orgullosa.com(OR-goo-yo-sa) site is part of a Hispanic Heritage Month initiative and also of P&G's increased marketing to U.S. Hispanics. The name of the site is Spanish for "proud."
The fast-growing group now accounts for 16 percent of the nation's population.
The bilingual site features P&G products including Olay skin cream, CoverGirl makeup and Febreze air fresheners.
