Oil slips to lowest level in nearly a month

Oil tumbled Monday to the lowest level in nearly a month after a drop in Greece's credit rating added to concerns about a slowdown in the European economy.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Crude dropped $1.99 to settle at $97.30 per barrel.

Gasoline fell 2.09 cents to settle at $2.9968 per gallon.

Heating oil added less than a penny to settle at $3.1058 per gallon.

Natural gas fell 11.1 cents to settle at $4.646 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE Futures exchange:

Brent crude gained 32 cents to settle at $119.10 per barrel.
