Grain futures trade mixed, livestock prices rise

Grains futures traded mostly lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery dropped 16.25 cents to $7.43 a bushel; July corn fell 4.5 cents to $7.825 a bushel; July oats rose 5.5 cents to $4.01 a bushel; while July soybeans fell 4.5 cents to $13.8275 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle added 0.55 cent to $1.0402 a pound; August feeder cattle gained 1.15 cent to $1.2477 a pound; July lean hogs rose 0.30 cent to 93.52 cents a pound; while July pork bellies were unchanged at $1.21 a pound.
