Authorities in Colombia say gunmen have kidnapped four Chinese citizens who work for a British energy company. Officials are blaming the incident on the FARC rebel group.
An official says the employees of Emerald Energy were grabbed in San Vicente, a municipality in southern Colombia about 175 miles (280 kilometers) south of Bogota.
Emerald Energy says in a statement that the reason for the kidnapping hasn't been determined.
In March, FARC guerrillas grabbed 23 workers for the Canadian oil company Talisman in eastern Colombia. The kidnappers freed their victims a few hours later while evading pursuing Colombian troops.
