BJ's Wholesale, Analogic, Ciena are big movers

BJ's Wholesale Club Inc., up 82 cents at $48.52

The New York Post reported that Leonard Green & Partners and CVC Capital will make a joint bid for the wholesale club chain.

McDonald's Corp., up 1 cent at $81.15

A key sales measure rose 3.1 percent last month, slower than the same time last year as growth weakened in the U.S. and Europe.

Abercrombie & Fitch Inc., down $3.62 at $66.28

The preppy retailer's CFO said the company doesn't expect to do as well in the second quarter as it did in the first quarter.


Ciena Corp., down $3.92 at $20.29

The network equipment maker reported a larger loss and lower revenue than Wall Street expected, and its forecast disappointed.

Analogic Corp., up $1.50 at $51.83

The medical and security imaging equipment maker posted quarterly results that topped Wall Street analysts' expectations.

Bob Evans Farms Inc., up $3.39 at $32.91

The restaurant chain and packaged food maker's quarterly earnings declined as commodity costs grew, but a key sales measure rose.

QuinStreet Inc., down $3.51 at $11.16

The online marketing company's revenue forecast for its next fiscal year fell short of analyst expectations.

Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance Inc., up $6.29 at $55.90

The company posted strong quarterly growth in revenue and profit as customer traffic rose in stores and online.
