Standard Pacific Corp. said on Tuesday that Chief Financial Officer John M. Stephens has left the homebuilder to pursue new opportunities and will be succeeded by Jeffrey J. McCall.
McCall most recently served as CFO-Americas for business support company Regus PLC.
Stephens became CFO in February 2009 after the previous executive resigned as part of a settlement over employment-related claims. Standard Pacific credited Stephens with leading a recent refinancing of $1.3 billion in near-term debt.
Standard Pacific shares rose 5 cents to close at $3.97 before the announcement and were unchanged after hours.
