Domino's Pizza , Cigna, Aeropostale are big movers

Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:


Domino's Pizza Inc., up $2.10 at $21.30

The pizza chain posted a 10 percent jump in first-quarter profit, boosted by sales gains at stores abroad.

Cigna Corp., $1.26 at $47.18

The insurer's quarterly profit jumped 52 percent, led by growth in its health care division, and Cigna raised its 2011 profit forecast.

J. C. Penney Co. Inc., down $1.96 at $37.46

The department's store key revenue measure for April rose 6.4 percent, but Wall Street analysts had expected even faster growth.

Aeropostale Inc., down $4.20 at $21.29

The teen retailer cut its profit outlook for the quarter. It used too many promotions on clothing, hurting sales and margins.

Warner Music Group Corp., up 48 cents at $7.90

Former Warner Music director Len Blavatnik's Access Industries was close to a deal for the label, the Wall Street Journal reported.


Electronic Arts Inc., up $1.76 at $21.68

The video game publisher's quarterly profit rose fivefold and it posted strong results in its growing unit for mobile devices.

Kendle International Inc., up $5.48 at $14.98

INC Research is buying the clinical research company for $232 million, or $15.25 a share, a 61 percent premium to Thursday's close.

JDS Uniphase Corp., up $1.38 at $21.38

The maker of communications equipment for telecom companies said it swung back to a third-quarter profit as demand rose.
