Oil got a boost from the weaker dollar on Friday. The dollar hit a three-year low against six major currencies. Here's how energy contracts traded.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange:
Crude rose $1.07 to settle at $114.93 per barrel.
Gasoline gained 2.88 cents to settle at $3.3984 a gallon.
Heating oil picked up 2.99 cents to settle at $3.2758 a gallon.
Natural gas added 12.8 cents to settle at $4.761 per 1,000 cubic feet.
On the ICE Futures exchange:
Brent crude rose 87 cents to settle at $125.89 per barrel.
