Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Monday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:


Community Health Systems Inc., down $1.40 at $30.50

The hospital operator revised its $3 billion offer for rival Tenet Healthcare Corp. to an all-cash bid.

Halliburton Co., up 32 cents at $47.14

The oil services company said its net income rose as drilling in North America increased.

W.W. Grainger Inc., up $2.46 at $145.32

The industrial supply company raised its earnings forecasts after it said its first-quarter net income soared 59 percent.

M&T Bank Corp., up $1.86 at $87.21

The bank said its first-quarter net income rose 39 percent because the company took in more money from fees.


Amarin Corp., up $8.33 at $17.10

The biopharmaceutical company said an experimental drug reduced triglycerides and "bad" cholesterol in late-stage testing.

Evergreen Solar Inc., down 15 cents at $1.61

A Citi analyst downgraded the solar product maker's stock saying the company's strategy will take "too long to materialize."

Titan Machinery Inc., up $4.03 at $30.97

The operator of agricultural and construction equipment stores said that its fourth-quarter net income tripled on higher sales.

Papa John's International Inc., down 66 cents at $31.09

The pizza chain said its president and co-chief executive officer resigned to pursue other opportunities.
