Tax Day is nearly upon us, meaning it's time to be on the lookout for freebies.
Discounts and giveaways have become a tradition on Tax Day for many companies and this year is no exception. The promotions typically come with restrictions, however, and not all locations may participate. So if you're interested in one of the offers below, call ahead to the location near you to confirm the details.
Remember that Tax Day falls on April 18 this year. The filing deadline was delayed for the observance of Emancipation Day on Friday.
When: April 15, all day.
Most promotions fall on Tax Day, but the roast beef chain is giving away curly fries on Friday to help power procrastinators through the weekend. Customers who agree to "Like" the company's Facebook page can print a coupon at http://facebook.com/Arbys for a value size order.
Chili's Grill and Bar
When: April 18, all day.
Customers can get a free appetizer or dessert with the purchase of an entree. The coupon is available on the company's Facebook page at http://on.fb.me/e7r29l.
Guests can also download the coupon on their smartphones. The offer is limited to one coupon per table.
When: April 18, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The chain is giving away two free Cinnabon Bites to each guest. No purchase is necessary but the offer is only good while supplies last. Cinnabon locations in airports or travel plazas are not participating.
MaggieMoo's Ice Cream
When: April 18, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The ice cream chain is giving away free mini sundaes. The "Sundae Stimulus" will feature the chain's new Crumb Cake Fundae, which includes cinnamon Hostess Streusel Cake, cinnamon ice cream, caramel sauce, mixed with nuts and whipped cream.
