Ford, GameStop, First Solar, Rue21 are big movers

Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Ford Motor Co., down 17 cents at $14.81

The automaker is expanding a recall of its F-150 pickup truck to nearly 1.2 million vehicles that may have defective air bags.

Supervalu Inc., up $1.53 at $10.61

Earnings at the grocer, which operates the Albertsons, Jewel-Osco and Save-A-Lot chains, topped Wall Street expectations.

El Paso Corp., up 96 cents at $18.26

The oil and gas producer said it will develop a Texas shale oil and gas field by itself, which could boost production and reserves.

GameStop Corp., up 5 cents at $25.41

A Sterne Agee analyst raised the stock price target of the video game retailer, citing the company's digital growth strategy.

Nasdaq

Hasbro Inc., down $1.39 at $44.40

Weak sales of games, puzzles and girls' toys pushed the toy maker's first-quarter profit down 71 percent.

Rue21 Inc., up $1.26 at $29.87

The teen retailer is being added to the S&P SmallCap 600 index, replacing toy maker RC2 Corp.

First Solar Inc., down $3.83 at $140.90

The solar modules maker said that its president of operations will leave the company at the end of the month.

JB Hunt Transport Services Inc., up $2.93 at 47.53

The trucking operator said its first-quarter income rose, helped by a 57 percent jump in fuel surcharge revenue.
