Mistras Group, Tyco, iRobot are big movers

Mistras Group Inc., up 58 cents at $17.08

The engineering services company said fiscal third-quarter net income more than tripled, thanks to higher revenue.

Tyco International Ltd., down 32 cents at $52.01

France's Schneider Electric SA denied reports that it has launched a $30 billion takeover bid for the Swiss manufacturer.

JPMorgan Chase & Co., down 39 cents at $46.25

Shares fell after the bank reported that its first quarter earnings jumped 67 percent on solid growth in investment banking fees.


Riverbed Technology Inc., up $3.82 at $34.74

The maker of computer networking technology gave a better-than-expected outlook for its first quarter thanks to solid demand.

SemiLEDs Corp., down 38 cents at $11.03

Shares of the light-emitting diode maker were downgraded by a Canaccord Genuity analyst amid signs of increased competition.

iRobot Corp., up $4.19 at $35.66

The maker of the Roomba vacuum cleaning robot was awarded a $230 million U.S. Navy contract to develop small robotic vehicles.

Silgan Holdings Inc., up $6.97 at $43.80

The consumer packaging maker said it will buy its rival, Graham Packaging Co., for $1.28 billion.

Healthcare Services Group Inc., down 49 cents at $17.53

First-quarter earnings at the company, which provides food services to hospitals, were below analysts' expectations.
