Oil prices were lower at the end of the week after Libya said it would stop military operations against rebels, although fighting continued. Here's how energy contracts traded on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange:
_Benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude dropped 35 cents to settle at $101.07 per barrel.
_Heating oil lost 4.06 cents to settle at $3.0243 per gallon.
_Gasoline futures were flat to settle at $2.9494 per gallon.
_Natural gas gained a penny to settle at $4.168 per 1,000 cubic feet.
On the ICE Futures exchange:
_Brent crude lost 88 cents to settle at $113.77 per barrel.
