Chrysler Group says sales in February rose 13 percent as the company continued its recovery from bankruptcy.
The company sold 95,102 cars and trucks for the month. The Jeep and Ram truck brands posted strong sales compared with February of last year.
Chrysler says Ram truck sales were up 81 percent as small businesses started to replace vehicles as the economic recovery continues.
February was the eleventh straight month of year-over-year sales increases for Chrysler, which emerged from bankruptcy in June of 2009.
Chrysler's revamped 200 midsize car and the new Dodge Durango sport utility vehicle also sold well last month.
