Boeing, Wells Fargo, NutriSystem are big movers

Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:


Boeing Co., up $1.54 at $72.30

The aerospace company beat out European rival EADS to win a $35 billion Air Force tanker contract, one of the biggest defense contracts ever.

Interpublic Group of Cos., up 95 cents at $12.57

The advertising company's CEO said that strong demand for its services would boost revenue and profit margin growth in 2011.

American International Group Inc., down $1.89 at $38.54

The bailed-out insurance giant posted quarterly profit of $11.18 billion because of asset sales, but investors worried about weak results in its core businesses. Inc., up $4.51 at $138.83

The cloud-computing business software company forecast better-than-expected revenue for the year as sales of its newer products grow.

DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc., down 78 cents at $27.32

Disappointing box-office results of the film "Megamind" weighed on the movie studio's net income in the last three months of 2010.

SandRidge Energy Inc., up $1.35 at $10.53

The oil and natural gas producer's quarterly loss shrank as its oil reserves and production grew, and it raised its production guidance for 2011.

Wells Fargo & Co., up 96 cents at $32.40

Goldman Sachs upgraded the bank, saying the stock is well-priced after the CFO's surprise retirement earlier this month prompted a sell-off.


NutriSystem Inc., down $6.31 at $13.89

The weight-management company said demand from customers was weakening, and its outlook for 2011 fell far short of analyst expectations.
