Heifer International is set to name its new chief executive officer.
The Little Rock-based charity has scheduled a Thursday news conference to make the announcement.
The new hire will replace Jo Luck as the organization's leader.
Last year, Heifer laid off 230 people in the U.S. and abroad after donations plunged when the economy went sour.
Heifer has its headquarters next to the Clinton Presidential Library, where it also has an interactive museum in which children can learn ways to combat hunger and poverty across the world.
The CEO announcement is set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Heifer's main office.
