Coca-Cola Co. reported its third-quarter results Tuesday. Here's a look at results by region:
EURASIA AND AFRICA: Volume rose 12 percent, net revenue rose 16 percent. The company sold 10 percent more soft drinks and 21 percent more juices and teas. Russia's volume jumped 30 percent. India, Turkey, South Africa were among areas gaining volume.
EUROPE: Volume was flat and revenue fell 3 percent, with mid-single-digit volume growth in France and the Nordic Region. Other areas with growth include Great Britain, Germany and Northern Central Europe. Coca-Cola Zero volume rose 9 percent, while juices and tea volume gained 5 percent.
LATIN AMERICA: Both volume and revenue rose 4 percent. Coca-Cola brand volume grew 4 percent on World Cup marketing. Brazil led growth with a 13 percent volume gain.
NORTH AMERICA: Both volume and revenue rose 2 percent. Soft drink volume was flat, while juice and tea volume was up 8 percent, on growth in Powerade, Simply, Vitaminwater and others.
PACIFIC: Volume rose 11 percent and net revenue jumped 21 percent. Volume grew 11 percent in Japan, 19 percent in the Philippines, 13 percent in Korea and 12 percent in China. Juice drinks in China, including Minute Maid Orange Pulpy, grew in the double digits in the quarter.
