Grains futures mostly fall, livestock prices rise

Grain futures mostly fell Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery added 3.75 cents to $7.045 a bushel; December corn slipped 4.25 cents to $5.63 a bushel; December oats dropped 5.75 cents to $3.7025 a bushel; and soybeans for November delivery slid 3.5 cents to $11.85 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle jumped 1.85 cents to 100.12 cents a pound; November feeder cattle gained 1.25 cents to $1.0937 a pound; December lean hogs edged up 0.05 cent to 68.90 cents a pound; and February pork bellies rose 1.50 cents to $1.0350 a pound.
