Wintry weather continues to hamper progress across the state as farmers look to finish their harvests.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly crop report issued Tuesday said there were just three days suitable for field work last week, in part because of snow- and ice-covered fields.
As of Sunday, the state's corn harvest was 93 percent complete. The sorghum harvest progressed to 98 percent complete.
The report also says high grain moisture continues to create problems.
Snow depth across the state averaged 5 inches, while southeast and south-central areas reported nearly 8 inches last week.
