In a Dec. 17 story about a new Michigan Promotion Fund, The Associated Press reported erroneously how the fund would be supported. The fund would rely on a portion of Michigan's sales and use tax collections on certain tourism-related businesses, but would not also include a $2.50 fee on car rentals. The fee wasn't included in the version of the bill that was adopted by the House.
