The Wall Street Journal has named WSJ.com managing editor Rebecca Blumenstein as its new deputy managing editor overseeing international operations.
The financial newspaper, owned by News Corp., said Blumenstein will begin her new role on Jan. 11. She will oversee the paper's bureaus and correspondents around the world as well as financial coverage provided by its Money & Investing team.
Blumenstein has led WSJ.com since June 2008, and previously served as international news editor and the paper's China bureau chief.
Kevin Delaney, currently WSJ.com's senior deputy managing editor, has been promoted to succeed Blumenstein.
