Dictionary.com, which is an affiliate of search engine Ask.com, said Tuesday that it named Shravan Goli as its president.
Goli, 39, whose last post was as general manager of business for social entertainment company Slide Inc., will replace Doug Leeds, who was appointed president of Ask.com U.S. in October.
Goli will be in charge of Dictionary.com's strategy and business, and he will report to Ask Networks president Scott Garell.
Ask.com is owned by Internet company IAC/InterActiveCorp, which also runs dating site Match.com and other Web sites.
IAC shares fell 22 cents to $19.08 in afternoon trading.
